Zach Salsburg-Frank Named Music Director for 2024-25 Season

Conductor Zach Salsburg-Frank Takes PBA’s Helm as Music Director for Upcoming Season

We are thrilled to welcome Zach Salsburg-Frank as PBA’S Music Director for the 2024-25 season!

Zach brings a dynamic blend of vocal and orchestral expertise to PBA’s music program. He has conducted and assisted on many prominent opera productions, including conducting Chandler Opera’s La traviata and Il Barbiere di Siviglia, serving as an Apprentice Conductor for the Canadian Opera Company’s La bohème and Seattle Opera’s Tristan und Isolde, and Assistant Conducting for Sacramento Philharmonic & Opera’s La bohème and Opéra de Toulon’s Don Giovanni.

Mr. Salsburg-Frank holds a Bachelor of Music in Voice, with a minor in Music Education, from McGill University and a Master of Music in Conducting from Arizona State University.

Mr. Salsburg-Frank is more than a talented emerging conductor — he is a proud alumnus of Pacific Boychoir Academy!

Zach attended Day School from 2009-2013 and sang with PBA through his high school years. He graduated from the choir in 2017, and has since supported PBA in a variety of roles.
