Seven Years of Musical Excellence for PBA

After 7 years as PBA’s Music Director – and 17 years total at PBA – Andrew Brown will depart PBA as he moves closer to retirement.

Mr. Brown’s years of dedication and exceptional artistry end on a high note — with a 2023-24 season that includes three separate collaborations with the San Francisco Symphony, including Mahler’s Third Symphony with Esa-Pekka Salonen.

Over 17 Years, Mr. Brown Directed Nearly Every Ensemble

With 17 years in residence at PBA, Mr. Brown has directed nearly every choir ensemble at Pacific Boychoir Academy.

He has lead and participated in over 200 performances in 12 states and 10 countries.

Beloved by His Students & Choristers

Mr. Brown has thrived on the challenge of building musical artistry with young musicians!

He is much beloved by his students and choristers, who have valued his ability to deliver exacting expectations with warmth, generosity and an unforgettable sense of humor.
